It is a conversation with a licensed psychologist, held virtually, in English or Spanish, followed by a written evaluation your lawyer files with your petition. You do not travel anywhere. You are not being tested, and you cannot fail it.

Your evaluation in 1–2 weeks
Written after the interview and provided to you. If your filing date is close, tell us and we will prioritize.
One price, nothing added later
$1,000 covers the clinical interview and the completed written evaluation. There are no additional charges, no hourly billing, and no charge for the call before you decide.
If paying at once is difficult, say so. We arrange plans over up to six months, and we would rather work something out than have cost be the reason you do not go ahead.

Do I have to go into an office?
No. The whole process is done virtually, from wherever you are in the United States.
Can we speak in Spanish?
Yes — the whole evaluation can be conducted in Spanish. Other languages can be arranged on request.
Will you tell my lawyer what I say?
The evaluation is yours. We write it and give it to you, and you decide whether to pass it to your lawyer. We do not send it to them directly unless you ask us to.
What if I change my mind?
Before the interview you can change your mind for any reason, and we refund you in full. If you would rather move the appointment than cancel it, just tell us and we will rebook you.
Once the interview has taken place the fee is not refundable, including when the findings are not what someone hoped for — the fee pays for an honest evaluation, not for a particular conclusion. And if we are not able to go ahead with the evaluation for any reason, we refund you in full.
